Brookville Community United Methodist Church is located at the corner of Hay and Maple.
We are in the “heart of Brookville” and serve the entire community as we:
  • Celebrate God in worship, music, dance;
  • Connect with God and God’s people through micro-communities of belonging, love, and support,
  • Learn about God in Christian study,
  • Love our neighbors as ourselves, especially those most in need.
Our deepest desire is that you would grow in your relationship with God in a way that transforms your life, our life together, and our world.

We are connected world wide through the
Miami Valley District of the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church serving the local and worldwide needs of all people. We study the Word, practice what we learn, and, in the process, grow together. Join our fellowship of believers by checking out our latest NewsletterCalendar

Meet the Pastor

Pastor Charles “Chuck” Eagle joined Community UMC on June 25, 2017. Pastor Chuck has a BS in Business from Penn State University and an MDiv from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH.                He grew up in McKeesport, PA where he was a member of Versailles United Methodist Church.

Pastor Chuck is in his 23rd year of ministry having served Walter Chapel UMC and Normalville UMC in Western Pennsylvania. In 2003 he moved to Ohio and has served the Beaverdam/Rockport Charge, Mendon/Hamilton Bethel Charge, Continental Christ/North Creek Charge, New Hope in Gore, and most recently Jackson Grace.
Pastor Chuck has a deep love for all people rooted in his understanding that we are all God’s children and the greatest gift is love (1 Corinthians 13:13b). He has a heart for the marginalized and believes in the importance of ministry with the poor. He is also very passionate about children and youth and served for 10 years as a Bible Study Counselor and Dean at church camp in Western Pennsylvania. Preaching and Bible study teaching are two of his gifts.

Pastor Chuck is single but his dog Shadow keeps him company. His parents and 1 brother are deceased, but his other brother and 4 sisters live in Pennsylvania with the rest of his massive family of nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces.

Church Structure:

Our desire is to empower each person to listen to and respond to the voice of the Holy Spirit guiding them to Grow and Serve. We do this by electing a team of 6 persons to prayerfully set broad vision for the church (Governing Board), and inviting all those who wish to be in leadership to participate in the Leadership Team which figures out how to live out the vision in concrete, coordinated, and inspired ways. The Leadership Team does not give permission for ministry, but instead asks “How can we help?”
